$36,950–$58,000 full-time · resident to non-resident · plus $1,522 annual fees

- Bar passageclass of 2025
84.6%first-time+3.7
81.0% is the average for all ABA-accredited schools’ graduates in the same jurisdictions this school’s graduates sat in · 132 of 156 first-time takers passed
93.8% of the class of 2023 were admitted within two years of graduating
A pass rate on its own says as much about which states a school feeds as about the school, so the ABA’s own like-for-like average is shown with it.

- Employmentclass of 2025
139 of 164 (84.8%) in full-time, long-term jobs requiring bar admission
Ten months after graduation · 10 more in JD-advantage jobs · 10 still seeking · 4 of the bar-admission jobs are funded by the school
The ABA collects employment status and job type only. It collects no salary, so no salary figure comes from this filing.

- First-year attrition2024-25
4.0% of the first-year class · 6 students
No law school publishes a graduation rate, so this is not one. It is the students who left in their first year, academic and other, as filed. Transfers out are reported separately and are not counted here.

Not a starting salary.
$75,186 median one year after finishing · $120,301 after four
$107,773 is the national median at four years for the same credential
A College Scorecard median for 2017-18 and 2018-19 completers who received federal aid, measured a fixed number of years after they finished — not what this year’s graduates are being paid, and not a figure the school or the ABA publishes. The ABA collects no salary data at all.

Essays
- Personal statementRequired · 3 pgstart by May 11, 2027
A compelling personal statement should provide insight about you, describes your motivation to attend law school, and/or highlights your interest in Indiana Law. It should be clearly written, well-organized, and highlight the special strengths and experiences that you would bring to our law school and the legal profession. These may include, but are not limited to, demonstrated evidence of leadership, creativity, commitment to justice, service to others, cross-cultural competency, and significant work or volunteer experience. Statements are evaluated for grammar, spelling, organization, clarity, and relevance. Your personal statement should be approximately 2-3 pages, double-spaced.
Notes & source
The site's length guidance is 'approximately 2-3 pages, double-spaced' — page_limit 3 records the upper end of that range, not a hard cap; no font or margin rules are published.

- Perspective statementOptionalstart by May 18, 2027
Indiana Law recognizes that some applicants have faced and overcome significant adversity in life. In this optional essay, you may share any information about the adversity or challenges that you would like us to consider about your life which may have limited your educational opportunities or negatively impacted your academic performance. This may include social, economic, educational obstacles, exposure to bias, health issues, disability, immigration status, surviving abuse, experiencing discrimination or complex family circumstances like incarcerated parents, homelessness, or being raised in foster care. This is not an exhaustive list; it’s an opportunity to provide any additional aspects of your background that may provide the admissions committee with a better sense of your strengths as a student and classmate.
Notes & source
Called the 'Adversity Statement (optional)' on the first-year how-to-apply page. No length limit is published.

- AddendumOptionalstart by May 29, 2027
If you believe the admissions committee would benefit from an explanation about part of your application, you should submit an addendum. This optional essay will usually explain problems with, or unusual aspects of, your application. You may also submit an addendum describing any significant adversity you have experienced which may have limited your educational opportunities or negatively affected your academic performance.
Notes & source
Optional. The Q&A page's typical reasons include a poor semester of grades, an unusually low grade in a particular course, an unusual gap in college attendance, or an LSAT or GPA that isn't indicative of true abilities. Applicants with a significant discrepancy between test scores (five points or more) are advised to address it in an addendum. No length limit is published.

Notes & source
All applicants must complete the online application hosted on LSAC and submit all supporting documents through the LSAC Credential Assembly Service, including applicants who take the GRE. A completed or in-progress bachelor's-equivalent degree from an accredited college or university is expected. International applicants whose first language is not English and whose undergraduate degree was obtained outside the United States must include TOEFL or IELTS results (scores valid for two years).

- LSAT or GRERequiredstart by Apr 2, 2027
Notes & source
LSAT, GRE, or JD-Next accepted (test not required for Direct Admit or Advanced Standing applicants; the school holds a Standard 503 variance allowing JD-Next per its 509 report). GRE takers send scores via ETS code 4703. LSAT and GRE scores are valid for five years. General policy considers all scores, but the highest LSAT score is assigned the most weight given ABA reporting; a significant discrepancy between scores (five points or more) should be addressed in an addendum. A future test score is considered after submission so long as the exam is taken before July of the intended fall semester of enrollment. For early decision, test scores must be in by November 1 (October LSAT takers get an extension into the first week of November).

- Application feeOptionalat submission
Notes & source
The first-year how-to-apply page banner states 'The JD application fee for fall 2025 has been waived for all domestic and international applicants,' and the Q&A repeats that for Fall 2025 the fee is waived for all J.D. applicants including Advanced Standing and Transfer; the 2025 ABA 509 report likewise lists a $0 application fee. These statements name the fall 2025 cycle — the site has not published a fee statement for the current (fall 2027 entry) cycle, so the waiver's continuation is unconfirmed. The Q&A's international-applicant answer separately states 'The application fee for international applicants is $85.' Needs a refresh once the school updates its pages.

- InterviewOptionalat submission
Notes & source
Not offered. Q&A wording: 'No. The large number of applications generally prohibits us from granting personal interviews.' The school instead encourages contacting the Office of Admissions to arrange a campus visit.
