What it costs, how graduates fare

Tuition2025-26

$39,900 full-time · plus $500 annual fees

Living expenses $32,600 on campus

Tuition and the fees the school certifies alongside it — not a full cost of attendance.

Bar passageclass of 2025

67.5%first-time−13.3

80.8% is the average for all ABA-accredited schools’ graduates in the same jurisdictions this school’s graduates sat in · 54 of 80 first-time takers passed

88.9% of the class of 2023 were admitted within two years of graduating

A pass rate on its own says as much about which states a school feeds as about the school, so the ABA’s own like-for-like average is shown with it.

Employmentclass of 2025

58 of 88 (65.9%) in full-time, long-term jobs requiring bar admission

Ten months after graduation · 5 more in JD-advantage jobs · 8 still seeking

The ABA collects employment status and job type only. It collects no salary, so no salary figure comes from this filing.

First-year attrition2024-25

4.0% of the first-year class · 5 students

No law school publishes a graduation rate, so this is not one. It is the students who left in their first year, academic and other, as filed. Transfers out are reported separately and are not counted here.

EarningsCollege Scorecard

Not a starting salary.

$49,400 median one year after finishing · $68,740 after four

$107,773 is the national median at four years for the same credential

A College Scorecard median for 2017-18 and 2018-19 completers who received federal aid, measured a fixed number of years after they finished — not what this year’s graduates are being paid, and not a figure the school or the ABA publishes. The ABA collects no salary data at all.

  • AddendumOptionalstart by Jul 12, 2027

The only writing-adjacent obligation Faulkner publishes is the standard bar-admission warning, recorded here because the taxonomy in docs/DATA.md has no character-and-fitness type: 'In addition to a bar examination, there are character, fitness, and other qualifications for admission to the bar in every U.S. jurisdiction. Applicants are encouraged to determine the requirements for any jurisdiction in which they intend to seek admission by contacting the jurisdiction. Addresses for all relevant agencies are available through the National Conference of Bar Examiners.' That is boilerplate every ABA school prints; unlike most schools, Faulkner publishes no character-and-fitness question set, no disclosure standard, no instruction about what an affirmative answer requires, and no general addendum slot. NO PERSONAL STATEMENT, RESUME OR LETTER-OF-RECOMMENDATION REQUIREMENT IS PUBLISHED ANYWHERE ON THE SITE. Under docs/CURATION.md those types are omitted rather than recorded as absent -- the school has made no claim either way, and it would be wrong to assert that Faulkner does not ask for a personal statement when the likeliest explanation is an unfinished site rebuild. An applicant should expect the LSAC application to ask for materials this file cannot list, and should email admissions before assuming otherwise.

  • LSAT or GRERequiredstart by May 16, 2027
    Notes & source

THE LSAT IS THE ONLY TEST THE ADMISSIONS PAGES DISCUSS, AND THE GRE IS CONFIRMED ONLY IN PASSING ON A PROGRAMME PAGE -- worth knowing, because an applicant reading the application-process page alone would conclude the GRE is not accepted. The application-process page covers the LSAT and nothing else: 'The LSAT is given nationally eight times each year: in August, September, October, November, January, February, April, and June. We suggest that you take the LSAT no later than June before the Fall in which you hope to enter law school. Most people find they require several months of study to fully prepare for taking the LSAT; please take this into consideration when you register for the test.' HIGHEST SCORE GOVERNS, BUT ALL ARE SEEN: 'An applicant's highest score will be used to make admissions decisions; however, all scores received will be recorded in the applicant's file.' FIVE-YEAR VALIDITY, stated as a refusal: 'Faulkner Law will not accept an LSAT score that is five or more years old.' THE GRE EVIDENCE COMES FROM THE EXECUTIVE J.D. PAGE, in a clause about the schedule rather than a statement of admissions policy: the Executive J.D. 'offers parity with Faulkner Law's on-campus J.D., including integrating bar exam preparedness, maintaining compliance with overall ABA Standards, providing student services and academic support, and following established admissions standards (including accepting either LSAT or GRE scores).' Read carefully, that says the GRE is part of Faulkner's established standards generally, not a concession for the Executive schedule -- and the 2025 509 confirms it from the other side, printing a GRE row with 1 admissions enrollee alongside 166 LSAT enrollees. So the GRE is genuinely accepted and genuinely rare. NO MINIMUM SCORE, no GRE code, no policy on multiple GRE scores and no JD-Next mention appears anywhere; the 509 prints no JD-Next row. WHAT THE SCHOOL SAYS IT IS LOOKING FOR, from the admissions page: 'Your LSAT score and undergraduate GPA matter, but so do your character, leadership skills, and demonstrated public service... Faulkner Law graduates are dedicated lawyer-servants and we are seeking students who share that mission.'

  • Transcripts via LSAC CASRequiredstart by Jun 24, 2027
    Notes & source

LSAC IS THE ONLY ROUTE IN, and it is stated as an instruction rather than explained: 'Register with LSAC' and 'Submit your application through LSAC.' Those two sentences, plus the LSAT paragraphs, are the whole of Faulkner's published application process. NO CAS REGISTRATION INSTRUCTION, NO TRANSCRIPT INSTRUCTION, NO LSAC SCHOOL CODE AND NO DEGREE REQUIREMENT IS PUBLISHED ANYWHERE ON THE SITE -- not on the application-process page, not on the J.D. page, not on the admitted-students page. Recorded as required because applying through LSAC entails the Credential Assembly Service for any ABA-approved school and the school directs applicants there, but the specifics an applicant would normally read here are absent. This entry is the clearest illustration of why this file needs rechecking: a school that requires a CAS report almost certainly says so somewhere, and Faulkner's rebuilt site currently does not.

Administrative

  • Application feeOptionalat submission
    Notes & source

NO APPLICATION FEE. Faulkner's site never mentions a fee in either direction; the school's 2025 ABA Standard 509 certifies 'Application fee 0', so the filing is the source and is cited as such. No waiver process is published, which follows from there being nothing to waive; LSAC's own CAS and report fees are separate and Faulkner does not address them. THE SCHOOL'S PITCH IS BUILT ON PRICE, which makes the free application consistent rather than incidental: 'Faulkner Law ranks among the most affordable private law schools in the country. The law school offers generous, merit-based scholarships for deserving students with strong academic credentials. And unlike most schools, Faulkner Law offers additional scholarships for outstanding academic performance during law school.' The 509 certifies full-time tuition at $39,900 plus $500 in annual fees, flat across residency.
