$24,010–$29,010 full-time · resident to non-resident · plus $800 annual fees

- Bar passageclass of 2025
85.1%first-time+6.5
78.6% is the average for all ABA-accredited schools’ graduates in the same jurisdictions this school’s graduates sat in · 103 of 121 first-time takers passed
95.0% of the class of 2023 were admitted within two years of graduating
A pass rate on its own says as much about which states a school feeds as about the school, so the ABA’s own like-for-like average is shown with it.

- Employmentclass of 2025
105 of 127 (82.7%) in full-time, long-term jobs requiring bar admission
Ten months after graduation · 10 more in JD-advantage jobs · 10 still seeking
The ABA collects employment status and job type only. It collects no salary, so no salary figure comes from this filing.

3.0% of the first-year class · 3 students
No law school publishes a graduation rate, so this is not one. It is the students who left in their first year, academic and other, as filed. Transfers out are reported separately and are not counted here.

Not a starting salary.
$60,967 median one year after finishing · $85,043 after four
$107,773 is the national median at four years for the same credential
A College Scorecard median for 2017-18 and 2018-19 completers who received federal aid, measured a fixed number of years after they finished — not what this year’s graduates are being paid, and not a figure the school or the ABA publishes. The ABA collects no salary data at all.

Notes & source
One statement, six topic options — the first option is a 'why Klekamp' prompt ('Describe your specific interest in attending the University of Cincinnati Donald P. Klekamp College of Law and how you believe our institution will uniquely support your academic and career aspirations'), but it is an alternative within the personal statement, not a separate required essay, so no why_x_essay requirement is recorded. The last option is open: 'Discuss any topic of your choice.' The page frames the statement as 'the most effective means of communication with the Admissions Committee' and says it 'also serves as a sample of the applicant's writing ability.' NO LENGTH GUIDANCE IS PUBLISHED. The application-advice page that used to restate the prompts under 'In roughly 2-3 pages, we want you to:' now 404s (re-checked 2026-10-07), so even that soft guidance is gone; no page_limit is recorded.

- AddendumOptionalstart by Jan 29, 2027
Notes & source
Two addenda are named, both conditional. (1) Prior law school: "If you have ever enrolled in any law school, you are required to attach an addendum indicating what school, when you attended, and your reasons for leaving," plus a letter of good standing and a law school transcript — required if applicable, so this block's `required: false` reflects that it does not apply to every applicant. (2) Character and fitness: 'An application will not be considered complete until all Character and Fitness questions have been answered and an explanation detailing any responses checked "yes" have been received'; the page warns these disclosures may become part of a future state bar application (the application-advice page that added 'full disclosure is best' now 404s) The site does not invite GPA, LSAT, or gap-in-history addenda and publishes no length limits — silence, not prohibition. There is likewise no diversity, perspective, or optional-essay prompt anywhere in the published requirements.

Notes & source
'Two letters of recommendation are required and must be submitted through the LSAC's Credential Assembly Letter of Recommendation Service. UC Klekamp Law will accept up to three.' On who should write: 'A good reference choice is either college professor or professional colleague who has firsthand knowledge of the applicant's scholastic abilities and work habits and is, therefore, able to write a meaningful recommendation. Applicants who have been out of college for several years or who find it difficult to reach professors can obtain references from employers, supervisors, or attorneys who have firsthand knowledge of the applicant's qualifications for law study.' (Re-read 2026-10-07: the requirements page now names professional colleagues alongside professors; the advice-page sentence preferring professors this note used to quote is gone with that page.)

'All applicants must submit a current resume with their application.' No page limit or format is published. The application-advice page this note used to cite ('There is no required or preferred length of a résumé') now 404s, so the length question is back to the page's silence.

- Transcripts via LSAC CASRequiredstart by Jan 11, 2027
Notes & source
Registration with LSAC's Credential Assembly Service is required; the applicant sends official transcripts to LSAC for each undergraduate or graduate college or university attended. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required by the date of anticipated enrollment; acceptance may be issued before the degree is conferred, conditional on receipt. Postsecondary work done outside the US (or its territories) or Canada must also go through CAS for AACRAO evaluation, unless earned through a study-abroad, consortium, or exchange program sponsored by a US or Canadian institution and shown as such on the home transcript; admitted students with a foreign degree additionally need a WES degree-equivalency and course-by-course evaluation sent to the College of Law by July 15. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit English proficiency scores — TOEFL minimum 80 iBT for exams before January 1, 2026 or 4.5 after (LSAC TOEFL code 0058; TOEFL Essentials and MyBest scores not accepted), IELTS 6.5 overall band, Duolingo 110, or PTE 54. Separately, admitted students must send one final official transcript showing the conferred degree directly to the College of Law by August 1, 2027 — the CAS report does not satisfy this.

- LSAT or GRERequiredstart by Dec 3, 2026
Notes & source
LSAT or JD-Next. 'All applicants must take an ABA-approved standardized test. UC Klekamp College of Law accepts the LSAT or JD-Next. Applicants must receive a LSAT or JD-Next prior to the July 1 application deadline.' The GRE is never mentioned anywhere in the school's published requirements — recorded as the site's silence, not as an explicit rejection. One exception, and pending scores: 'No application will be considered without a valid LSAT or JD-Next score unless you are a University of Cincinnati undergraduate student applying through the Direct Admission program. If an applicant has registered to re-take the LSAT or JD-Next at a date subsequent to receipt of their application, a decision may be reserved until the pending score has been reported. If an applicant desires to proceed with the formal review process prior to the availability of a pending LSAT or JD-Next score, they must submit a written request to the Office of Admissions directly.' The school's 2025 ABA 509 report shows 3 first-year enrollees admitted with no LSAT, GRE, or JD-Next score, consistent with the Direct Admission route. No score-validity window is published. REWRITTEN 2026-10-07: the earlier version of this page also encouraged a retake when a first score was 'significantly below the College's published LSAT median' and said the highest score is used; neither sentence survives on the current page, so neither is claimed here.

- Application feeRequiredat submission
Notes & source
Free if filed early, $40 after. "Application fees are waived automatically if you apply on or before February 1. After February 1, a nonrefundable $40 application must accompany the application" (the word "fee" is missing in the school's sentence). The application-process page words the boundary slightly differently — "free before February 1, 2027 | $40 after February 1, 2027" — leaving February 1 itself ambiguous between the two pages; the requirements page's "on or before" is the more specific statement. WAIVERS ARE NOW CASE BY CASE ONLY: 'UC Klekamp Law will consider application fee waiver requests on a case-by-case basis.' (Changed 2026-10-07 — the earlier page promised a waiver to anyone holding an LSAC need-based fee waiver; that sentence is gone.) The school's 2025 ABA Standard 509 report lists the application fee as $35, a figure the website does not use.
