What it costs, how graduates fare

Tuition2025-26

$51,840 full-time · plus $930 annual fees

Tuition and the fees the school certifies alongside it — not a full cost of attendance.

Bar passageclass of 2025

93.5%first-time+11.4

82.1% is the average for all ABA-accredited schools’ graduates in the same jurisdictions this school’s graduates sat in · 172 of 184 first-time takers passed

96.2% of the class of 2023 were admitted within two years of graduating

A pass rate on its own says as much about which states a school feeds as about the school, so the ABA’s own like-for-like average is shown with it.

5.0% of the first-year class · 10 students

No law school publishes a graduation rate, so this is not one. It is the students who left in their first year, academic and other, as filed. Transfers out are reported separately and are not counted here.

  • Personal statementRequired · 2 pgstart by Oct 25, 2026

The personal statement should be viewed as your interview on paper. It gives us an opportunity to get to know you on a more personal level. Additionally, it gives you an opportunity to explore fit, and convey to the committee why you feel that Campbell Law is an ideal place to study the law.

    Notes & source

'Applicants must submit a personal statement with their application.' A HARD CAP WITH FULL FORMATTING SPECIFIED, which is rarer than it sounds: 'You will be limited to two pages, double-spaced, with a 12-point font.' Recorded as page_limit 2; 'limited to' is a cap rather than guidance, so unlike some schools in this data set the number is real. THE PROMPT IS EXPLICITLY A WHY-CAMPBELL QUESTION -- 'convey to the committee why you feel that Campbell Law is an ideal place to study the law' -- so the required statement absorbs the why-us case and no separate why_x_essay row is recorded. THE FRAMING MATTERS FOR ANOTHER REASON: Campbell calls the statement 'your interview on paper', which is the closest the school comes anywhere to addressing admissions interviews; see the interview entry. Campbell publishes NO perspective statement, no diversity or lived-experience prompt, and no optional essay, so those types are omitted rather than recorded as absent. What the committee says it weighs: 'The members of the Admissions Committee evaluate applicants holistically, considering LSAT score, undergraduate GPA, writing ability, and breadth of work, life, and leadership experience', and separately 'Demonstrated academic achievement; An expressed calling to study law; A potential for leadership; A heart for community service; Strong character and ethical values.' That second list is worth reading before drafting -- Campbell is a Baptist-affiliated school and states its frame directly: 'we recognize the intrinsic worth of every person as a result of our belief that we are created in the image of God.'

  • AddendumOptionalstart by Nov 12, 2026
    Notes & source

CAMPBELL PUBLISHES NO GENERAL-PURPOSE ADDENDUM INVITATION -- there is no named slot for explaining a low GPA, a score disparity, or a gap in the record, and no optional-materials section of the kind most schools in this data set offer. That is a real gap and is recorded as the school's silence. Two specific written addenda ARE required when triggered. FIRST, PRIOR LAW SCHOOL: applicants not in good standing at a previous ABA-accredited law school 'should include a complete transcript and addendum regarding prior law school attendance.' SECOND, CHARACTER AND FITNESS, which Campbell specifies in more procedural detail than almost any school here and gates processing on: 'If the answer to any of the character and fitness questions (on the electronic application) is "Yes," attach a full statement, supplying ALL of the following information for each affirmative response: (a) a statement identifying the original charge(s), citation(s), or alleged offense(s); (b) the organization, institution, entity, or jurisdiction with authority over the matter...; (c) the date(s) of the incident(s) and the date(s) of any arrest(s), charge(s), or proceeding(s); (d) copies of ALL official records (including all DMV, arrest records, and/or court records) that pertain to each incident; (e) a complete and detailed description of the facts and circumstances surrounding or giving rise to each incident or charge; (f) the current status of the matter(s); and (g) the ultimate disposition or outcome.' THE CONSEQUENCE OF AN INCOMPLETE STATEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION: 'If attached statements do not supply all of the information listed above, your application will not be processed.' WHAT COUNTS IS SPELLED OUT IN BOTH DIRECTIONS, which is unusually helpful: 'Required disclosures DO include traffic offenses, i.e. DUI/DWI offenses, speeding, improper equipment, expired registration or inspection tags, failure to maintain proof of insurance, failure to wear a seat belt, etc.' and 'Required disclosures DO NOT include expunged or sealed violations or parking tickets.' There is a five-year records carve-out for non-alcohol traffic matters, and a warning that 'for traffic-related matters, a DMV record will not by itself be sufficient to constitute a full statement.' The instruction when in doubt: 'if you have any question as to whether a given incident should be disclosed, you should opt for full disclosure.' THE STAKES ARE STATED IN FULL: 'Failure to provide required information, or misrepresentation of such information, can result in withdrawal of an offer of admission prior to matriculation, dismissal or suspension from the law school after matriculation, rescission of the student's degree after graduation, and/or forfeiture of all fees and charges paid and academic credit earned. Any such failure to disclose or misrepresentation will be reported to the Board of Law examiners for misconduct investigation, and to the LSAC Misconduct and Irregularities in the Admission Process Subcommittee.' Recorded on the addendum entry because the taxonomy in docs/DATA.md has no character-and-fitness type; required is false because both obligations are conditional.

  • RésuméRequiredstart by Nov 8, 2026
    Notes & source

'Applicants must submit a resume along with the application.' CAMPBELL EXPLICITLY LIFTS THE ONE-PAGE CONVENTION, which most schools leave unstated: 'Campbell Law allows applicants more than one page on your resume to share your experiences. This is especially true if you have a longer work history and other experiences to include such as internships or community service. Where possible, provide comprehensive details and background describing your experience.' No maximum is published, so no page_limit is recorded -- the school's instruction runs the other way, toward more detail rather than less.

  • Letter of recommendation (1 of 2)Requiredstart by Oct 18, 2026
    Notes & source

TWO REQUIRED, FOUR ACCEPTED, stated in one sentence: 'When completing your application, having two Letters of Recommendation (LOR) submitted usually fulfills your application requirements; however, verify the exact number allowed within the LSAC Credential Assembly Service (CAS). Although two are required, Campbell accepts a total of four.' The instructions page also directs that 'Transcripts and two letters of recommendation should be sent directly to CAS.' Campbell encourages using the full allowance when the letters are good: 'If you have additional letters, and they are "strong and supportive," you will want these documents in your file.' WHO SHOULD WRITE, with a recency rule: 'If you are a recent graduate, most schools wish to see at least one letter from a faculty member. The others may come from an internship or research supervisor, an employer, etc., anyone in whom you have confidence and who knows you well. If you have been out of school for more than five years, then other recommendations may be used.' Campbell also supplies the question it thinks an applicant should ask a recommender: 'Do you believe you can provide a strong supportive letter endorsing my law school application?'

  • LSAT or GRERequiredstart by Sep 16, 2026
    Notes & source

THE LSAT IS THE ONLY ADMISSION TEST CAMPBELL ACCEPTS, AND ITS OWN 509 AGREES -- which is worth stating plainly because most schools in this data set now take the GRE. 'All applicants must take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) no later than March of the year in which they intend to enter Campbell Law. However, you are encouraged to take the LSAT in the summer or fall of the previous year to ensure timely consideration of your application.' The word GRE does not appear on the admissions overview, the apply page, the requirements page, or the instructions page as fetched on 2026-08-19, and no JD-Next variance is claimed. The 509 corroborates rather than contradicts: all 202 first-year enrollees are reported in the LSAT row, and the report prints no GRE and no JD-Next row at all. This is therefore recorded as an LSAT-only policy on the strength of both sources agreeing, not as mere site silence -- but note that the taxonomy type remains lsat_or_gre. HIGHEST SCORE GOVERNS: 'There is no minimum score for entry into Campbell Law. In the event of multiple LSAT scores, the admissions committee will consider the highest of all scores reported.' FIVE-YEAR VALIDITY, measured from the test date: 'The admissions committee will not consider an LSAT score if more than five years have passed since the date the test was taken', and the guide puts it as 'LSAT score must be no more than 5 years old by your application date.' TEST-DATE CUTOFFS DIFFER BY ROUND: October is the last LSAT for early decision, March for regular admission.

  • Transcripts via LSAC CASRequiredstart by Oct 25, 2026
    Notes & source

'All applicants must register with LSAC's Credential Assembly Service (CAS). Transcripts and two letters of recommendation should be sent directly to CAS... Please do not send transcripts to the law school.' DEGREE REQUIRED: 'A bachelor's degree from an approved and accredited college or university is required. A transcript from each college or university attended must be sent to the Law School Admission Council's Credential Assembly Service (CAS).' THE DISCLOSURE NET IS WIDER THAN USUAL and catches two things applicants routinely miss -- dual enrollment and credit from unaccredited institutions: 'Applicants must ensure undergraduate transcripts from each college, university, or high school dual-enrollment program attended are on file at CAS', and 'All work completed in summer school, at another university, at an unaccredited institution or any other situation in which you might have earned academic credit must be acknowledged on your CAS report.' TRANSCRIPTS ARE SENT THREE TIMES, not once: 'Transcripts should be sent during the application process, mid-year with updated grades (as appropriate) and again with your posted degree on the final transcript.' Campbell notes the GPA that matters is LSAC's: 'The LSAC system uses only your undergraduate grades to calculate your GPA in the Academic Summary for the report.' CAS registration 'is valid for five years from the date the LSAT/CAS registration form is processed.' On cost, Campbell points at LSAC rather than offering relief itself: 'If this cost is too burdensome, reach out to LSAC about their fee waiver packages.' No minimum GPA is published. PRIOR LAW SCHOOL ATTENDANCE triggers a separate documented package: 'Applicants who have attended another ABA-accredited law school must submit a written statement about their attendance, a complete transcript, and a statement from their dean indicating class rank and certifying good standing and eligibility to return to the home institution as a continuing student. Those not in good standing should include a complete transcript and addendum regarding prior law school attendance.' NO INTERNATIONAL OR ENGLISH-PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT is published on any admissions page fetched -- no TOEFL, no IELTS, no foreign-credential evaluation route -- which is a genuine silence rather than a statement that none applies.

  • Application feeOptionalat submission
    Notes & source

THERE IS NO APPLICATION FEE: 'There is no application fee for First-Year JD applicants.' The 509 independently certifies 'Application fee 0', so both sources agree and required is recorded as false. Note the qualifier the school attaches -- the waiver is for FIRST-YEAR JD applicants, and Campbell does not say what transfer, visiting, or Flex applicants pay, which is recorded as silence rather than assumed to be free. There is consequently no fee-waiver process to document. LSAC's own CAS and report charges are separate and are the only application cost Campbell addresses, pointing applicants to 'LSAC about their fee waiver packages'.

  • InterviewOptionalat submission
    Notes & source

Recorded as the site's silence, not as a statement that Campbell does not interview. No page fetched on 2026-08-19 -- the admissions overview, apply page, apply-online timeline, requirements page, instructions page, or admissions events page -- describes an admissions interview, evaluative or informational, by invitation or on request. THE ONE ADJACENT STATEMENT POINTS AWAY FROM INTERVIEWS WITHOUT DENYING THEM: Campbell tells applicants that 'The personal statement should be viewed as your interview on paper. It gives us an opportunity to get to know you on a more personal level.' That is a description of what the essay does, not a policy that no interview exists, so it is recorded here as context rather than treated as a denial. The published evaluation criteria are entirely paper-based -- LSAT, GPA, writing ability, and breadth of work, life and leadership experience.
