What it costs, how graduates fare
- Tuition2025-26
$28,390–$52,099 full-time · resident to non-resident · plus $1,443 annual fees
Living expenses $33,090 on campus
Tuition and the fees the school certifies alongside it — not a full cost of attendance.

- Bar passageclass of 2025
91.9%first-time+13.7
78.2% is the average for all ABA-accredited schools’ graduates in the same jurisdictions this school’s graduates sat in · 251 of 273 first-time takers passed
94.5% of the class of 2023 were admitted within two years of graduating
A pass rate on its own says as much about which states a school feeds as about the school, so the ABA’s own like-for-like average is shown with it.

- Employmentclass of 2025
258 of 290 (89.0%) in full-time, long-term jobs requiring bar admission
Ten months after graduation · 11 more in JD-advantage jobs · 12 still seeking
The ABA collects employment status and job type only. It collects no salary, so no salary figure comes from this filing.

- First-year attrition2024-25
1.0% of the first-year class · 3 students
No law school publishes a graduation rate, so this is not one. It is the students who left in their first year, academic and other, as filed. Transfers out are reported separately and are not counted here.

- EarningsCollege Scorecard
Not a starting salary.
$72,119 median one year after finishing · $111,668 after four
$105,518 is the national median at four years for the same credential
A College Scorecard median for 2017-18 and 2018-19 completers who received federal aid, measured a fixed number of years after they finished — not what this year’s graduates are being paid, and not a figure the school or the ABA publishes. The ABA collects no salary data at all.

Essays
- Personal statementRequired · 3 pgstart by Feb 7, 2027
The personal statement should give the committee a better picture of who you are beyond your academic achievements and resume. It should be compelling, well-written and include some discussion of why you want to go to law school. It is also an opportunity to highlight specific reasons for your interest in ASU Law.
Notes & source
No more than three pages, double-spaced, font size no smaller than 11 point.

- LSAT or GREOptionalstart by Dec 30, 2026
Notes & source
ASU Law accepts the LSAT or JD-Next, and also has a test-optional pathway under a five-year ABA variance: applicants without a valid LSAT or JD-Next score may apply without a test score (indicate this on the application). LSAT scores are valid five years; June 2022 through June 2027 administrations are accepted, with June 2027 the last LSAT for this cycle. JD-Next scores must be submitted by Aspen Publishing (not self-reported); the course starting February 2027 is the last accepted this cycle. The GRE is not a general admissions test here — GRE/GMAT (85th percentile) appears only as a criterion of the ASU Achievement Program for joint-degree candidates.
